Description
The category placement of this one depends a great deal upon how it is interpreted, and so into "uncategorized" it goes. This is an image that filled my head one night as I was falling asleep. The realism isn't as high on this as some of my other pieces, but I wanted this to have a bit more of a surreal element to it.
Comments and constructive criticism are always welcome.

PS: Don't use unsaturated gray and black it creates 'holes' in colour drawings. See: http://www.arclight.net/chipmunk/articles/moregrays/section0.htm

Jawine: You know, it's funny.... I JUST got done reading an article about that when I was in the midst of this piece. I don't believe there's any neutral grays anywhere, but the blacks are definitely quite neutral. And you'll also notice that the only blacks are the cracks and the holes in the mirror. It was, in fact, intentional. The whole image as a whole is meant to be very de-saturated. Perhaps it's not a very good style tip (and I agree with your comment and the article that you quoted me - it probably shouldn't be used in almost all circumstances), but I thought this time it fit. Ah well, perhaps not such a good idea after all. Glad that you still enjoyed it, though, and thanks a TON for the link to the article. It's different than the one I'd read, and very informational for future reference when I'm -not- trying to create holes in my paintings.
